Bobbi Brown, AOS, earned her associate degree in Occupational Health Studies from Heritage College and is certified in Specialized Applied Kinesiology from the International Kinesiology College. She has been in the healthcare industry for over eleven years and holds certifications through WaterART Fitness, Pranic Healing and Touch for Health. Bobbi has thought part-time for the last four years. She has experience working with a wide range of clientele and brings to the classroom enthusiasm and a desire to make a difference in the lies of her students. Bobbi is the Massage Therapy Program Manager.

Amber Winkler, MA – Adjunct Instructor
Amber Winkler earned her Associates degree in X-Ray Medical Technician-Medical Assistant-Associate of Occupational Studies Degree from Heritage College. She currently holds the following certifications: NRCMA, NPCE, CPR/AED. While working in the Medical Assisting field she has had the opportunity to grow and train others as well. She enjoys the opportunity to be able to teach others in the field that she has so much passion for. Amber is a part-time instructor
Kelsey Fortin – Fitness & Nutrition
Kelsey is passionate about healthy living and helping others achieve their own personal goals. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a bachelor’s degree in Community Health, and a master’s degree in Health Education and Exercise Psychology. She is currently working towards her PhD and holds a graduate teaching position in the Health Sport and Exercise Science department at KU. She has worked in the nutrition and fitness industry for over five years, and is an ACE certified Personal Trainer, Fitness Nutrition Specialist, and Health Coach. Throughout her years of experience, she has had exposure to a variety of professional experiences including personal training in a large gym setting, community health education in the non-profit sector, medical health education, and strength and conditioning coaching. She specializes in nutrition education and weight management along with small group training, high performance training, and some forms of rehabilitation training. She has owned her own Personal training and Health Coaching business since 2017. She is passionate about educating future nutrition and fitness professionals to strengthen the healthcare system and positively impact individuals and the community around us. Kelsey is a part-time instructor.
Shane Cook – Fitness & Nutrition
Shane Cook earned his NSCA-CPT and an associate degree as an Exercise Specialist from Bryan College in 2009. He has spent the last 11 years working in the fitness industry as a personal trainer and fitness manager. In 2015, Shane opened Pulse Personal Training in Lenexa, KS and has been running the business ever since. Shane has serviced well over 10,000 hours of one-on-one training and continues to help his clients reach their fitness goals every day. Shane is a part-time instructor
Joselyn Eskew – Fitness & Nutrition
Joselyn studied at TU, The National Council for Certified Personal Trainers, the American Council on Exercise, and continues to further her education. She has studied vegan diets extensively and is familiar with most nutrition programs. She holds several certifications, including Nutritionist and CPT. She is certified in Yoga, Group fitness, and Nutrition and Weight Management. She comes to us from a diverse background in Real Estate, Insurance, Fitness, and Nutrition. She has a thirst for knowledge and discussing health. Joselyn is a part-time instructor.
Aireautnei (Aire/ Mrs. A/ Shae) White – Adjunct Instructor
Aireautnei (Aire/ Mrs. A/ Shae) White earned her Associates degree in Massage Therapy from High-Tech Institute in Kansas City, MO and is actively pursuing a Bachelors degree in Management, from the University of Phoenix. She has been in the massage therapy industry for over 13 years. She has worked closely with the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) as an Examination Development Coordinator. Aireautnei is a part-time instructor.
Brooke Seiz – Adjunct Instructor
Brooke Seiz is a graduate of the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver, CO, and is Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. She is Certified in Functional Medicine, and is also a 500 Hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher. Brooke is currently pursuing a Master’s in Counseling Psychology. She has a special interest in digestive wellness. Brooke worked as a nutritional health coach for Natural Grocers for six years. Currently Brooke sees patients at Premier Integrative Health, and clients in her own online practice – Wired and Tired Women. Brooke is a part-time instructor.
Pam Davenport – Adjunct Instructor
Pam has been in the fitness industry for over twenty years and has been recognized by WIN-KC as a Lifetime Athlete and champion of women in sports. She competes all over the world for Team USA in triathlons and coaches a triathlon team. She has both level 1 and 2 certifications from Precision Nutrition and was an online coach for them for two years. She also has many advanced certifications including NASM CPT ,PES, FNS, YES, SFS and CES. She is an E-RYT with Yoga Alliance and is able to teach SUP yoga as well. She served 5 years as personal training program manager for a career college, has owned her own gym, has done in home training and has worked in both large and small gyms. She is the author of an award winning book, Exercising Values: Happy, Healthy Kind and Considerate Kids in Fifteen Minutes a Day, and has created a year-long program to accompany it. She does public speaking to promote family fitness. She loves education and proves it by having home educated her own six children. She holds a BA from Stanford University and an MSW from the University of Kansas. Pam is an adjunct instructor.
Shannon Baisden, CPT
Shannon Baisden MA, has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from University of California, Davis, a Master’s degree in Sport Sciences from the University of the Pacific, and Professional Teaching Credential in Health, Biological Sciences, and Physical Education, in both California and Missouri. Shannon is certified as an Advanced Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She is also a nationally certified Health Coach by the American Council on Exercise, as well as an Elite Trainer, Certified Fitness Trainer, Group Exercise Specialist, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist by the International Sports Sciences Association. She is a part-time instructor and Assistant Program Manager.
Scott Lofquist, CPT
Scott Lofquist, CPT, graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. Scott holds multiple certifications in the health and wellness industry including RKC certified Kettlebell Instructor, NESTA personal trainer and biomechanics specialist, and CrossFit Level 1 and II Certified Instructor. Scott has competed in Olympic trials in both track and field and heavyweight lifting. It is Scott’s desire to bring his experience to the classroom in hopes of being a small part of launching people’s professional careers in the fitness industry. He is a part-time instructor.
Sam McGriff, PES
Sam McGriff, CSCS, SCCC, earned his master’s degree in Exercise Science from the California University of Pennsylvania. He served in the United States Navy as an Operations Officer after earning his Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Fitness from the University of Missouri. He has been the strength and conditions coach for the Pembroke Hill School since 2013. Prior to coaching, he worked as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor. Sam is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, and a Strength and Conditioning Coach – Certified (SCCC) through the CSCCa. He holds additional certifications through NASM, USAW and NASE. As a teacher, Sam shares in his student’s aspirations and aims to make the world stronger. He is a part-time instructor.
