Jimmie Wade earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Ottawa University in 2013. While working with the Kansas City T-Bones Baseball Organization, he completed his massage therapy program at Wellspring in 2015. He is looking to continue to pursue his Exercise Physiologist certification and also continue to grow and develop in massage therapy and help to share his knowledge with future therapists. Jimmie is a part-time instructor.
Aireautnei (Aire/ Mrs. A/ Shae) White earned her Associates degree in Massage Therapy from High-Tech Institute in Kansas City, MO and is actively pursuing a Bachelors degree in Management, from the University of Phoenix. She has been in the massage therapy industry for over 13 years. She has worked closely with the Massage and Bodywork Licensing Examination (MBLEx) as an Examination Development Coordinator. Aireautnei is a part-time instructor.
Brooke Seiz is a graduate of the Nutrition Therapy Institute in Denver, CO, and is Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition by the National Association of Nutrition Professionals. She is Certified in Functional Medicine, and is also a 500 Hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher. Brooke is currently pursuing a Master’s in Counseling Psychology. She has a special interest in digestive wellness. Brooke worked as a nutritional health coach for Natural Grocers for six years. Currently Brooke sees patients at Premier Integrative Health, and clients in her own online practice – Wired and Tired Women. Brooke is a part-time instructor.
Justin McCarthy earned his bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Kansas State University. He is certified as an Integrative Nutrition Wellness Coach from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition, and also a certified Reiki Master. He has been a consultant in the nutraceutical industry for over 5 years, and has also worked as a person trainer in both group and private settings. Justin is the Fitness & Nutrition Program Manager.
Shannon Baisden MA, has a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from University of California, Davis, a Master’s degree in Sport Sciences from the University of the Pacific, and Professional Teaching Credential in Health, Biological Sciences, and Physical Education, in both California and Missouri. Shannon is certified as an Advanced Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor by the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She is also a nationally certified Health Coach by the American Council on Exercise, as well as an Elite Trainer, Certified Fitness Trainer, Group Exercise Specialist, and Fitness Nutrition Specialist by the International Sports Sciences Association. She is a part-time instructor and Assistant Program Manager.
Scott Lofquist, CPT, graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education. Scott holds multiple certifications in the health and wellness industry including RKC certified Kettlebell Instructor, NESTA personal trainer and biomechanics specialist, and CrossFit Level 1 and II Certified Instructor. Scott has competed in Olympic trials in both track and field and heavyweight lifting. It is Scott’s desire to bring his experience to the classroom in hopes of being a small part of launching people’s professional careers in the fitness industry. He is a part-time instructor.
Marci Rush, LMT, graduated from High Tech Institute of Kansas City, Missouri with honors obtaining an AAS in 2005. Marci “aka, The Knot Whisperer” began her career in the Spa/Wellness industry over a decade ago, and in 2009 opened her private practice. She is licensed in the State of Missouri, Prairie Village and is Nationally Board certified by NCBTMB. Marci’s greatest achievements in the industry include being amongst the top 10 LMT’s in KC on America’s Top 10, as well as a Top 20 massage business in 2016 in Expertise.com. She brings her love and passion for bodywork into the classroom as a part-time instructor.
