Shannah Franklin earned her Associates Degree in Applied Science with emphasis in Medical Assisting from Wright Career College. Shannah is Currently pursuing additional course work in healthcare administration at Butler Community College. She holds an RMA registration through American Medical Technologist (AMT) and a CPR/AED certification through the American CPR Care Association. Shannah has worked in a family practice clinic for the past three and half years. She has experience in many different clinic settings as well as lab settings and is experienced in home healthcare. Shannah has helped organize several blood drives and strives to help improve her community’s health. Shannah brings to the classroom enthusiasm and love for healthcare. She has a desire to teach her students how wonderful and rewarding healthcare can be and strives to improve her students’ lives and give them a career they will cherish and love. Shannah hopes she will be one of the many vital contributors in helping improve the ever-changing healthcare world. Shannah is the Medial Assisting Program Manager.
